As with the other sites I rate, I HAVE received payment from them before they earn a positive rating.  Overall, I would recommend this to anyone.  It won't take much time, and this is a great survey site. 

Positive-
SurveySavvy pays via check, and there isn't a minimum to cash out (as far as I know).  It says 4-6 weeks for the check to arrive, but mine showed up in about a week, which is very good! 
Initial "portrait surveys" are short and to the point.  No wasting hours filling out info about yourself just to never receive surveys. 
Incentives are great!  And no problem crediting or showing up in account. 

Negative-
Not a lot of surveys sent.  This may because of my demographic or the fact that I am fairly new.

Okay, you've got a blog set-up.  But how to make income from it?  I'll be writing a series of articles on how to "perfect" your blog.  These articles will also be posted under the "blogging income" page on this website. 

First of all, your blog needs a niche.  You'll notice as your start submitting your blog to directories that they will constantly be asking for the category.  This isn't just needed for filling out forms.  People are going to start visiting your blog looking for specific information.  There is NO LIMIT on niches.  Trust me on this...I've seen blogs on everything from pets to current events to shaving.  Yes, you read that right.  Shaving. 

The first rule of writing is to write what you know.  If you're a health and fitness guru, capitalize on that knowledge.  If political-obsessed, write about that.  If you make an income online (as I do), you can write about that. 

Step 1- Define your niche.  Make a list of topics that can be covered under this.  For example, if you've got a health and fitness blog- you can write about the following: diet tips, healthy food, ways to work healthy food into your diet, specific exercises, interval training, etc., etc.  The list is endless. 

Step 2- Adjust your blog title to reflect what you're writing about.  A cute title may be that, cute...but if it doesn't express what you're writing about, you will lose a little bit of traffic. 

Step 3- Start writing.  It's always a good idea to get a good ten posts up before you start driving traffic to your blog.  After you write a few posts, you'll get the hang of writing quick, to the point posts and may decide to change the direction of your blog. 

Valued Opinions is another survey site that I have tried.  This one is graded "F." 

Yes, a quick internet search will find a lot of people who say it is good.  But here are my reasons for rating it an "F." 

1) Surveys can take up to two months to credit.  While it is waiting to credit, it is under "pending."  I have had two surveys (one for $2 and another for $3) just disappear into thin air.  They disappear under pending and never show up as credited.  Multiple attempts to contact have resulted in NO REPLY. 

2) One survey never even showed up under pending.  So, twenty minutes wasted for $1.50 that never showed up. 

3) Customer support doesn't exist for this company. 

4) It requires a minimum of $20 to cash out.  While this isn't unreasonable, it isn't great either.  Combine that with surveys that take eight weeks to credit and others that disappear into thin air, you have a bad situation. 

One of the ways to increase revenue from your blog is by increasing your traffic.  I love Entrecard for this.  There have been complaints over the fact that Entrecard allows sponsored ads.  I have no problem with this.  I use to work at an accounting firm and love studying economics- it is a fact of life that a business has to make money to stay in business.  Entrecard provides a wonderful service. 

Not only will your traffic increase, you will learn TONS from browsing through other blogs.  Some of the best information I've learned is from ideas that I've heard and learned about in other blogs.  This is a must try for everyone.  It's free.  You have nothing to lose!

And now back to business.  One of the best survey companies out there is Lightspeed.  Surveys arrive fairly often, screening is usually only a few questions, and payment is fast.  The minimum payout for cash is $10.00. 

The bad part is that they are not currently recruiting members, though they do say that if you see a banner you can join that way.  I am going to put this on the survey page, though, for future reference.  I would check fairly often, because this is a very good site!

With the survey sites, I'm going to grade them instead of just giving a "yes, do" or "no, avoid" due to the fact the survey sites are so extensive. 

The absolute top of survey sites that I've discovered so far is Pinecone Research.  I can't say how much they pay per survey (it's part of the privacy statement), I can say it is the best-paying, fastest-paying, and most interesting site that I have ran across.  Here is the link to their home page: http://www.pineconeresearch.com/index.htm

There is one thing with this site.  You can't just sign up.  You have to find a Pinecone "banner" or advertisement and sign up via the link.  And they're no links/banners on their site. 

However, (hint, hint), if you do a google search for "pinecone research banner", and click on one of the top few results, it will probably lead you to a banner.   After all, we all know that google can find anything.

For the person who left a comment on mybonusrewards.com- the only online link I can find is to a sign-on page.  No overview or explanation of program for new members.  Do you have a link to either one of these?  I would love to feature the program (if it passes muster, of course!), but need more information.

For those who want more traffic AND to make a little extra money, here's how it works.  You sign up.  You place some adgitize ads on your blog.  You pay for a month's advertising (there are also other options).  You can complete daily clicks and post on your blog to earn more.  The last two months I have advertised- the first month I made 12.00 over and above my advertising fee, the second month I made $16.00 over and above the advertising cost. 

A serious bonus of the Adgitize program is that many of the sites also feature Entrecard.  So you can get clicks for both Adgitize and Entrecard at the same time!

I got a comment from someone saying they barely ever qualified to make money on Quickrewards!  I realized that while I recommended the site, I didn't really explain how to make money there! 

So, here is the second post on Quickrewards.  First of all, you don't have to qualify for anything to make money there.  As I said in my earlier post, I normally don't do the surveys on the site, which is the only thing you have to "qualify" for.

Here's how you make money on the site:
On your "home" page, there is going to be a large square box labeled featured offers.  You get a .01 just to visit those sites.  Just click, and you'll earn. 
When you're done with the featured offers, scroll down on the page.  There will be a "Daily Check List".  Click on that and it will run you through every possible way to make money on the site.

Here is what I do each day:
1) Click on the "featured offers", which I explained above. 
2) Click on the links in the paid e-mails.  If you don't want e-mails coming to you, you can view them directly on the site and click on the links there. 
3) Complete "daily clicks"...there is usually an average of 30 or so clicks you can do under the daily clicks.  Nothing to qualify for.  This is where you'll make the bulk of your money. 
4) Answer the daily trivia.  It's almost always an easy question and you .005 for answering correctly. 

That's it!  Nothing to qualify for, no worries about giving out personal information.  Just run through the handy checklist on the screen, and watch the cents add up!
